Farsund
The coastal town in the west. Lista, industry, and a sky so wide it feels unfamiliar to anyone from the city.
F arsund is Lister's westernmost municipality, stretching out across Lista-halvøya toward the open sea. The town of Farsund itself is an intimate coastal town of wooden houses; surrounding it are Vanse, Borhaug, and Lista, each with its own distinct character. Around 9,600 people call this place home. Alcoa, Tratec, and Farmar are among the major employers, and the farmland on Lista is among the most productive in Norway.
Four places on the same peninsula.
Farsund municipality has four distinct neighbourhoods, from the compact town centre to the wide-open fields of Lista.
