Freysta currently works as a digital matchmaking platform connecting newcomers with rural communities in Norway. Now, we're launching a pilot project to test an extended model — where we don’t just enable the connection, but actively support selected newcomers in finding the right village, job, and home, and help them settle into their new local community.

The aim of this project is to explore whether this kind of active relocation support could become a new service we offer to municipalities that want targeted and personalised recruitment of new residents.

We’re now looking for 3–5 motivated people to join this unique pilot project.

What you’ll get – completely free of charge:

Who are we looking for?

– Someone who is ready to move to a rural area soon

– Highly motivated and open to personal guidance

– Able to communicate well in English or Norwegian

– Willing to have an open dialogue and regular contact with us

It’s a plus if you also:

– Have started learning Norwegian

– Have skills or education that are in demand in rural Norway– Work remotely and can bring your job with you

– Plan to move with a partner or family– Are a citizen of a country within the Schengen area
